  1. Remove the existing cover

    Expose the actual wall opening before measuring. Support the old grille as you release its fasteners.

  2. Measure inside edge to inside edge

    Record both opening dimensions in inches. Product size refers to the duct opening, not the outside dimensions of the old cover.

  3. Check frame clearance

    Confirm there is enough room around the opening for the outer frame, especially near trim, cabinetry, ceilings or corners.

How do I choose the right wall vent cover size?

Measure the wall opening from inside edge to inside edge in both directions. Choose the product that matches those opening dimensions, then confirm the cover’s outside dimensions and surrounding clearance.

Do these wall vent covers come finished?

Yes. They come in a finished White surface and can be used as supplied. Painting or applying wallpaper is optional.

Can I paint the wall vent cover?

Yes. The White surface can be painted when you want the cover to coordinate more closely with the surrounding wall.
