The size on a vent listing refers to the duct opening it fits. The visible frame can be larger.

  1. Expose the opening.

    Carefully remove the old cover. Support wall and ceiling covers as you release their fixings.

  2. Measure both inside edges.

    Record the width and length or height in inches.

  3. Check the complete fit.

    Match the opening size, then confirm the cover's mounting, orientation and surrounding clearance.

Do I measure the opening or the old cover?

Measure the duct opening from inside edge to inside edge. The outside of the old cover can be larger. Also check the new cover's overall dimensions and mounting requirements before ordering. See how to measure.

How does a floor-matching vent work?

The center tray holds a piece of your flooring so the cover blends into the surrounding surface. Choose the correct opening size and check the product's insert and installation details before cutting your material.

Which flooring can the floor-matching registers work with?

The flooring-insert tray accepts tile, wood, vinyl, laminate or carpet, so the top of the register can coordinate with your floor. For a tiled floor, the tileable design holds a matching tile insert. Check the insert dimensions before cutting your material.

Can the floor registers be walked on?

Yes. The heavy-duty metal floor registers are walkable and suitable for high-traffic floor areas when correctly installed. Choose the correct opening size and follow the product's installation requirements.

Can I adjust airflow through the floor registers?

Yes. Built-in air-control flaps let you adjust the airflow through the floor register while keeping the floor-matching appearance.

What finish do the wall and ceiling covers come in?

Wall and ceiling covers come in a finished White surface. For a custom match, they can also be painted or finished with wallpaper. Keep the perimeter airflow openings clear when decorating the cover.

Can the same cover go on a floor, wall or ceiling?

Not necessarily. Even when opening dimensions match, the mounting and support requirements can differ. Choose from the collection intended for the installation location and check the individual product details.
