  1. Remove the existing cover

    Expose the actual wall opening before measuring. Support the old grille as you release its fasteners.

  2. Measure inside edge to inside edge

    Record both opening dimensions in inches. Product size refers to the duct opening, not the outside dimensions of the old cover.

  3. Check frame clearance and mounting

    Confirm there is enough room around the opening for the outer frame, especially near trim, cabinetry or corners. Review the mounting requirements for your wall surface before ordering.
